You may remember Dane’s parents, Elena & Brett from their wild and crazy Wisconsin wedding 2 summers ago. Well, they had a baby. A super cute and happy baby!! I was beyond thrilled when they told me they were vacationing in Gatlinburg for the week with their new bundle of joy.
I always love when I get a chance to see my couples again but love it even more when I get to photograph their expanding families;)

It’s been 6 long months since my last wedding and I cannot think of a better way to kick off a wedding season than with an amazingly beautiful wedding in Charleston, SC with a pretty kick ass couple. I met Brittany & Matt two years ago at Caroline & Tripp’s wedding (Matt is Tripp’s brother) and was beyond thrilled when they asked me to head back to the place where they first met to document their big day. These two had a very intimate wedding at the historic William Aiken House in downtown Charleston with only their closest friends and family present, which I absolutely love! The weather was perfect and as requested, everyone brought their A game. They made my job easy…what more can I say:)
Congratulations Brittany & Matt and thank you for asking me to be part of such an important day. It was truly an honor!

I had a great time wandering around Melissa + Mike’s beautiful Arlington neighborhood, a few weeks ago, while shooting their engagement photos. I absolutely love that these two chose to have their session so close to home, as all of the pictures have such special meaning to them. I cannot wait to head back up to Virginia next month for what is sure to be an amazing wedding at the Morrison House in Old Town Alexandria.

This is my third time photographing this family and each session is more fun than the one before! I absolutely adore this family and am so excited that they are going to welcome baby #2 into the world in just a few short weeks. The Cherry Blossoms were just starting to bloom the last time I was in DC, so we headed out early one morning to grab some fun family and maternity shots around the Tidal Basin. And her she is! Sabrina + Bryan’s super cute baby Sophia. I had so much fun taking her 5 week photos this winter. Here are a few of my favorites from her session. 
Sabrina is one of my oldest and dearest friends and I am so happy I was able to make the trek over to Chapel hill last fall ( I am way behind on blogging) to take her maternity pictures. We spent the afternoon wandering around the campus at UNC – Chapel HIll, where she and Bryan met. The bench in the photo below is where Bryan proposed…so we made that our first stop:) Here are a handful of my favorites from the session. Enjoy!!
