Last month, I made the trek up to Juneau, Wisconsin for Elena + Brett’s ridiculously fun wedding weekend. After the rehearsal dinner on Friday night, everyone headed over to the Dodge Center to a few frames of 10 pin.  It would probably take me forever and a day to type out an explanation for the clothing worn in this post and I think we all know that I’m not a writer.  I will say that the goal was to look like a local and be as inappropriate as possible….I’m pretty sure everyone passed with flying colors.  Here are a few of my favorites. Earlier this week I headed over to little Ruby Kate’s house to take her welcome to the world photos. Ruby was born just 12 days prior to the session. She is the tiniest, sweetest little baby girl and I had such a great time photographing her…even if she did pee on me:) Congratulations Jessica and David, Ruby is just beautiful!

Early last month, Julia and Dan tied the knot at the beautiful and historic Saint Dennis Catholic Church in Galena, MD.  It rained on and off most of the day but Julia and Dan did not let a little rain dampen one second of their wedding day. These two were amazing! In between rain showers, we ran around her parents farm looking for fun places to shoot.  I love a couple that isn’t afraid of a little rain and mud!  After we were done with portraits we headed over to the tent for a night of hilarious speeches, dancing and even a surprise fireworks display.

If you have been following my blog for awhile you will probably recognize this family, as I have shot them many, many times before and it was my  absolute pleasure to photograph them a few weeks ago in downtown Maryville. Brooke and Brian are expecting a baby girl (Rowan) next month so we hit the greenway for a few shots of Brooke’s cute little belly and a few family shots. Well, we  tried to include Griffin but he had bigger and better things to do like run around the park:) That’s what 2 year olds do best, right?!

Brooke and Brian I had such a great time catching up! I cannot wait to meet Miss Rowan next month.

Sue + Seth are married!! Woo hoo!

These two love birds tied the knot on June 26th with a simple yet elegant interfaith ceremony at the Westwood Country Club in Vienna, VA. From start to finish this was one of the most relaxed weddings I think I have ever shot. Sue and Seth are both super laid back and just let the day unfold on its own and I am so happy that I was there to be a part of it. After the Ketubah signing and ceremony, we took a few fun portraits and then headed into the ballroom for one wild and crazy reception, complete with air guitars, splits, flips and of course the Hora ( perhaps my favorite part of any jewish wedding celebration). As I usually do, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
